It seems to me as a teenager I got overwhelming reinforcement from friends, family, media, girlfriends and authority figures of all manner and kind that condoms were mandatory to prevent unwanted babies and disease. Everybody I have ever talked to about this subject, and at 42 that would be a LOT of people, knows this. Don't they have social structures in "black culture"?..... or is it as I actually heard a black man say one time, "Them condoms is a white thing" (verbatim quote)?
