Back in the day reporters used to keep certain details out because polite people didn't talk about such things, but rarely did they keep something out because of who they were (Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb were ofter roasted in the papers if their behavior wen't too far).


Ultimately sports stars are entertainers, not heroes to be worshipped. We should see warts and all.
