Does indian media go overboard covering celebrities?
Yeah! But not only in India. There is the same tendency all over the world to treat celebrities like royalty etc.
Reply:You need to google some Indian media outlets, Bollywood production companies and Indian magazines (Hello equivalents). I think the 'cult of personality' is prevalent in both eastern and western societies - personally its who the Indian media choose and how Indian society defines 'celebrity' that differs from western perspectives.
Reply:well yea obviously it does go overboard.wat with all those reporters falling over eachother just to get a snap of a celebrity and no privacy.now a days juornalists are so desperate to get any info abt celebrities dat they'll do anythin for it.
