Do you think a Obama will breakdown if he criticized by the media now or during the General Election?

The ladies (and I use that term loosely) speculated that Obama couldn't handle scrutiny under the Republicans.

I beg to differ because as a black man, Obama would not have gotten this far in life if he couldn't handle criticism or deal with racism in America. In fact, I think that life in America has prepared the average black person for dealing with all sorts of professional and social challenges. I was most surprised to hear someone like Whoopi, who is a dark-skinned accomplished woman, say that another accomplished black person would not be able to successfully endure racism in the media... Maybe Ms. Goldberg was given everything she has on a silver platter over the years. lol

He is a very resilient gentleman with far more integrity, and the media will not devise anyway at all to ruin this man, he is about to win, and they want to be on his good side.
Reply:He can take it and he can dish it out. I hope the republicans can handle it.
Reply:he is solid %26amp; he can handle it ---he came from Chicago politics
Reply:agreed, he will come back after them with the same veracity that they push upon him.
Reply:If media start publishing facts they have hidden ever since regarding Obama, he will collapse immediately. People are just waiting to be informed. General elections? McCain had long been doing his homework on him. What are they in power for?
Reply:He's endured the Clinton's attacks, I'm sure that he could endure the Republicans. He will also be a lot better funded than John Kerry was, and has a talent to refute and defend against negative attacks without seeming negative himself.
Reply:i'm ready to laugh at all his doubters!
Reply:It takes guts to run for the highest office on earth, president of the United States. I think Obama has proved to be tough and able to handle criticism. But anyone would feel insulted if the criticism was unfair and uncalled for, so it's not just Obama who'd break down, but any Tom, Dick or Harry. Anyone with something to say about Obama needs to avoid personal attacks or pettiness. Issues are galore that we can discuss with him and if we differ we can tell him without being rude or intrusive.
