Don't you wish that our "news" media actually had a "liberal bias"?

Instead of a neoconservative (as opposed to a conservative) bias? Then maybe we'd actually have war/occupation coverage 24/7, candidates such as Dennis Kucinich would have an upper-hand (and maybe Ron Paul with his anti-war and anti-War on Drugs stance), the mainstream news would have consistently questioned and ridiculed Bush's call for war (instead of beating the drums for it--and helping with replaying the traumatizing and brainwashing 9/11 images before hand), debates would be longer and would be more inclusive so that the candidates can get more in depth and be more critical of the economic, social, and political issues such as the war (and they can be discussed more in depth), etc.

Don't you wish that our "news" media actually had a "liberal bias"?
Yeah, it's funny to hear conservatives say the media has a liberal bias. The only bias the mainstream media has is a "lazy" one. It's more about entertainment and sound bites than educating the public.

To many on the right wing, anything that doesn't share their views has a "liberal bias."

The only real liberal bias exists on small independent channels like Free Speech TV and programs like Democracy Now!. NPR and PBS sometimes have a liberal bias, but often this is confused with fact.

As Stephen Colbert says, "Reality has a well-known liberal bias."
Reply:It would be wonderful.

Of course... I have to disagree with your Ron Paul assertion... that guy is fa more dangerous than the average conservative... his policies are scary as heck.
Reply:i think the government should control what the news media puts on television.like when ever we make a new weapon they are the first ones to tell the whole world.certain things should be kept quiet.they need to sensor the media.Kennedy had the right idea when he was president.
Reply:The main stream media has a bias and its a bias twoards power and money... corruption kids corruption...
Reply:I'd prefer to see no bias at all, but the notion that the media has had a liberal bias is laughable.
Reply:No everything's not owned by Rupert Murdock. Have you heard of the liberal TED TURNER? Have you heard of the Clinton News Network (CNN) that significantly influenced the phrase "Liberal Biased News Media" during the Clinton years??? They assisted in "spinning Clinton" out of scandal after scandal...
Reply:Tell a lie that is big enough,

and repeat it often enough,

and the whole world will believe it.
Reply:Yes, I totally agree with you! *sm*
Reply:dumdum..there is nothing worse than the EXISTING criminal liberal media.
Reply:They tend to have an "access" bias . They're afraid of being denied it , so don't push as hard as they could, with whomever is in power . Don't forget who owns it either . If someone actually does dare to do the job, they become a pariah %26amp;/or they're gone . Just ask Ashley Banfield .

Reply:i'd like to see news coverage from an objective point of view. dont give us your opinion, just give us the news. i dont care about the network owners point of view; i dont care about the talking head anchor's point of view; i care about the content, the news. whatever happened to integrity in journalism or was there ever any? thank goodness for additional media outlets beyond television and radio.
Reply:YES!

Every time I see "liberal bias media" I want to laugh hysterically. What liberal bias media? Everything is owned by Rupert Murdoch!
