Reason for a rise in school shootings?

Quick or long answer: What's a possible reason behind the rise in school shootings every year? personally, i believe it's the rise in medications and social competition.

Consider: The education system, Medications, Media, Music, Government, Politics...

This is NOT normal, and I feel we are strongly ignoring the issue. Education is what protects the future of our people in this world and when people HATE education, we have major problems headed towards us in the future.

I feel schools need to be segregated to separate the extroverts from the introverts. The choice could be left to the student on their applications, BUT, not fitting in is like not living life itself.

Everything, No matter what it is, Has a true reason behind it. We don't act, unless something acts on us. -i.e. we didn't LIVE, until our mother gave BIRTH to us...or, she acted to make us act. Peers act upon other peers and make them act. Something makes these students act.

Reason for a rise in school shootings?
Short answer:

Parenting patterns that have lead to over-indulged children.
Reply:lack of respect for life, lack of mutual respect for other people. due to separation of religion in young children.as they grow into adults they are never taught not to steal, not to kill, etc.life doesn`t have the value it once did. -i.e.live by the golden rule.medications and social competition also play their part in my opinion.
Reply:I think society and the falsehoods that it holds is the culprit. It leads to a distorted perception of life and others, and sometimes that results in taking drastic decisions. Of course, it isn't just one single thing that school shooting or any other events occur, it's combination of several factors and misconceptions. You have drugs, exposure to violence (whether it's a virtual world or the real world), peer pressure that strangles you out of your mind, unstable and fractured family life, social competition, dreadful past experiences, your upbringing, academics, lack of respect and passion, and the list goes on. The question then becomes how to eliminate these things.

My personal opinion is that it can't eliminated, perhaps dramatically minimized, but not eliminated. The reason I say this is because they are some people who are reluctant to give their "false perceptions", behavior, and their overall lifestyle. It's like asking a drug dealer/rapper, who enrages constantly bad behavior, to give up his ways and settle for a "normal life". I don't mean to sterotype anyone here. But truthfully, in today's world, it's all about "me" and what I feel is right, despite the damage it may do.Most of us don't want to see the possible damage and maybe that's the root of the problem. Every now and then when walking by the streets, I might see a mother cursing out her little 4 year-old boy, giving then idea that his mother hates him. Now, you tell me, what is the likelihood that the child might follow that behavior?
Reply:more and more violent video games

there used to be none back before they came out
Reply:the simple answer is that there are more and more of us in this world every year. we are forced to interact more and more with each other and we are losing privacy and control. feelings of helplessness or revolt ensue.
Reply:I think the first school shooting that we heard about as a nation made it easier for other people to do school shootings, because many people have thoses "evil" thoughts but don't act upon them because it would be out of the "norm" but when they hear or see other people do it, it makes them feel that it is OK to do and on top of it you get a great deal of attention and will be known in history- I would say media plays a great deal in this
Reply:Less than 5% of those crimes are committed by females, so you must add in a gender element to these crimes.

I think males are more susceptible to influence by violence in the media, such as films, video games and other violent acts.

Women are stronger emotionally and spiritually by nature and do not bend the collective consciousness so easily.
