Am I taking the right classes as a junior?

I am about to be a junior. I have no idea what I want to be (as far as a career) though... I was hoping if you could tell me if I am on the right track just as far as doing good my junior year so I can do good senior year, and get into college?


(I don't want to be in art major, I want an art minor when i go to college.)





11th grade I am taking:


English 3 Ap


Pre Calculus


a junior level social studies class


Physics


Media 2 (Takes up 2 periods)


Art 2 Painting


Art 2 Drawing





and I still have 1/2 year of PE that i need to take. Will that be ok to take senior year??? Or will it look bad?

Am I taking the right classes as a junior?
If you know that you don't want to major in Art maybe taking 2 Art classes is a little much. Are they both Semester or Yearlong classes? If they are Semester you can get the PE credit out of the way. Colleges will ask why you seem to like art in high school, but not as much in college. That may lessen the strength of those classes. You could try a Literature or Business class to see if like those subjects as majors for college.

I believe you can turn any love into a business endeavor and if you're good and thorough enough with it you'll be able to hire people to do the parts that you don't like with the proper resources. I say be an Entrepreneur and that doesn't require formal education but In the field training.

I don't know you so I can not really tell you if you are on the right track or not. It seems to me that you are focusing more on the arts. That's pretty good.


If you do well in these classes you can probably still go to colloge and study whatever you want.


I am also about to be a junior and since I want to be a Surgeon, I am focusing more on the science/ math/ english classes. Maybe when you decide what you want to be you will do the same.


No matter what you decide to do always do the best you can in your english class. I found out that this class is the most important overall the classes that I took.


and Yes, it is ok to take PE your senior year. However, if you feel bad about it maybe you can take it in the summer or at a nearby college. That is a choice we have over here.
