I need a good idea for a Teenage Socials Issue Essay?

For my life planning class, we're required to write an essay about a social issue in today's teenaged society. Examples are media impression on teens, pressure to do drugs/have sex/drink ect. I want something really original to write my essay on! Any ideas?

How about, Teens who want to get pregnant. I had this one friend, called her Skunk, anyways she didn't have enough love in her life, so she thought a baby would give her this love she was missing. So she made herself get preggers with her ex BF Fat J, she also thought her ex would come crawling back to her if they had a baby. Anyways she got pregnant, got big, kids teased her at school, Fat J dropped her like a hot potato and called her a filthy slut. She was so scared she dropped of school and moved to Saffron City, stole from candy stores and stuff. Anyways she had the baby, and it didn't love her. It just popped. So she dropped the baby on the steps of her sis, kinda like when Obi gave Luke to Owen, but not really. Anyways her sis Suzy V had the baby and together they joined a circus with some old guys, some guy that looks like a bird, some Gothic freak, and some macho princess like gal. Anyways so yeah, it worked out in the end, don't know what happened to Skunk. Last I heard she joined some deranged travel agency is Africa with some chicks named seely and sof. so yeah wright about that,

many teens are from single parent homes- how do they deal with this, what relationship do they have with their noncustodial parents? how does it affect the discipline and structure of the home?
Reply:dealing with a mental illness....adhd, bipolar, and depression are a few examples.


Or you could write about some of the bad things that go on with bulling..cyber bulling is something that your generation is having to deal with that prior generations didnt have.
