I need help choosing a topic for a sociology project!!?

We need to do a survey related project.


Some of the earlier and less imp. topics were role of media in social life etc.


Some one had suggest the topic as Music and its effects on society, but i do not know how to go about that....(if u have any ideas plz tell me)

I need help choosing a topic for a sociology project!!?
I would do it on the pets and the elderly. How pets provide companionship to older people. You could do it on pets and companionship in general, but that would be too broad. When I was at the hospital, there was a sensor dog, it would remind the person to take their meds. So, something about how pets and humans interact and provide / fill a loneliness gap. These subject are always interesting to people, and there is a lot of information.
Reply:do a sociology report on immigration, and how it plays a role in the society, its contreversial and should be interesting, orr do it on the minutemen and how its a social issue use your imagination and be creative..,. good luck

Reply:To do the music one, I'd discuss the court cases in which musicians were charged with making people kill each other. Also, I'd discuss how adolescents sometimes display negative behaviours popularized in songs. Things like that.
Reply:I think a good topic would be how disaster can affect an entire community, and the social changes brought about by it, such as a flood, hurricane, etc,
