Im stuck on this question. i can't think of any. please help.?

this is my thesis statement....

"Women's fashions and current mode of dress have changed over the years. It is currently fashionable to dress in fashions that reveal alot of skin and are sexually suggestive. I believe this manner of dress is influenced by the media and changing social standards."

List 3 points that support your thesis statement in Part 1.

To add into that recently Victoria's Secret CEO, Sharen Tuney, stated the Victoria's Secret is "too sexy".

Tuney says, "We've so much gotten off our heritage ... too sexy, and we use the word sexy a lot and really have forgotten the ultra feminine. I feel so strongly about us getting back to our heritage and really thinking in terms of ultra feminine and not just the word sexy and becoming much more relevant to our customer."
Reply:1. the government doesn't regulate cable tv or the internet. Thus two media have escaped the old codes that used to regular the air waves. As regulation has diminished and those two media have increased in use, dress standards have gotten looser.

2. Stars such as Britney Spears have created fashion. Certainly the media has a lot to do with her popularity. She has created the open stomach show your naval look.

3. In terms of changling standards, swearing and loose behavior is much more open now. Teenagers hardly hold back when it comes to using foul language.

4. Again in terms of changing standards, as the family unit has broken down teenagers look to gangs and the internet to cement an identity, and the standards in both those outlets are loose.

BTW, my personal opinion is that standards come and go. The 20's were an era of laxity, but the 50's were an era of relative modesty.
