Canadian Universities which would encourage Intl. student changing over from Engineering stream to other?

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering 4 years ago, and have been working ever since in the field of IT.

After shifting 3 jobs, i'm still not satisfied with the way my career is shaping up. I thought long and hard abt this, and found out that the reason for my unhappiness is because i chose the wrong educational stream - a degree in film/media (or) journalism (or) social studies/anthropology would have suited me %26amp; my interests more, whereas i ended up studying Engineering as a result of peer pressure and poor judgement and also had a miserable outing at it - ended up with a pretty average score.

I now want to correct my path before it's too late(if it isn't already)... in this regard, i am considering going back to college.. the trouble is, not many universities in my country accept changing over from one stream to a totally different one like i want to, so i'm looking at options in countries like Canada/Australia, as i can't afford the US/UK.

Help pls?

Film or media studies: the Vancouver Film School is one of the best post-secondary school in the country offering diplomas in Writing, Digital, Classical and 3D Animation, Visual Art and Design, Film Production, Make-Up, Sound, Lighting, Film Production, Entertainment Business, etc. This is the quickest way to get a pretty good diploma recognized in the industry in one or two years.

Journalism: Ryerson University in Toronto is the place to go, rated the best by professional journalists

Anthropology: most universities have good undergraduate degrees, but if you want to do a masters, I would recommend McGill in Montreal
Reply:Try the University of Saskatchewan located in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. the www.usask.ca. I recently transferred here from a university in the states they were very help full in my transition. try it out it mite surprise you!
Reply:u of windsor is very open and friendly to international students. their best programs are computer science, math, and engineering but they also have pretty decent business, psychology, and social science dept's. I took some really great psych courses there, fantastic prof's, but i also ended up with a math and stats degree, but i think writing may be my fortee, funny how that works out...
