Is beauty the epitome when it comes to job interviews, talent agencies, etc?

Must you have physical beauty to succeed in life? From the media to the workplace, social life, etc. Has anyone been treated differently over the way they looked? I know i've been treated differently over the way I look and it's not always good.

Is beauty the epitome when it comes to job interviews, talent agencies, etc?
Because we live in a society where we are judged everyday by everyone, even our mama, our image, the way we physically present ourselves is the first thing that an employer notices. It is psychologically known that when a person is good looking, they are more likely to be favored over someone who is ugly. Your looks can get your foot in to the door but your personality and your work ethic is what is going to keep you in.
Reply:it's a double edge sword.....sometimes a beautiful person is given more chances than the average person.....because we as a society are fixated on peoples outward appearance.....but sometimes we can treat a person bad and assume they are stuck, rude or whatever just because they are so-called beautiful.....
