They are our heroes and heroines! What is wrong with our perception?

India! Tamil Films:

Our heroes! They seduce, molest, rape, murder, utter lies, cheat and our courts release them either for want of proof or for want of witnesses who do not come forward fearing murderous reprisals.

Our heroines! Scantly dressed and in dances, they cradle heir hips, jerk their buttocks, expose thighs downwards, and try to throw out their top natural baby-feeding projections. I am yet to see them raping boys. If they do, sure, another box office hit!

Our heroes and heroines! They engage in sticking long-time embraces, invite one another with winking signs for a kiss or more, thrash, disobey or scold parents in abusive language and elope to show that they can live on their own making parents to regret their earlier relationship rejection.

And when these greats appear in public to grace social functions they are thronged in adoration and media go all out to fill its space even with the colour of the dress they wear. What a change in generational outlook!

They are our heroes and heroines! What is wrong with our perception?
What? I am Indian...I personally don't like new movies...but, who cares? Let it be...times have changed. Everyone wants to be more westernized.

Reply:I, in July 1970, while waiting for our vehicle to pick us up, faced %26amp; replied a question from my friend which are as follow:

Q: What are you looking Chaubey?

A: I am lokking that we have read about naked uneducated "adimanavs living in forests in ancient human era", but here I am viewing our educated %26amp; dressed females (males even half dressed are not taken awaful) but looks bearly naked as the part of the body not to be exposed are made visible attracting the attention of each by-passers.

Why to talk about Tamil only ! it is in each languase film industry, and why only film industry it is now rooted in each human field.

Gentleman ! has not our entertainment system (cencered by elderly %26amp; so called literate personnel) brought this stage of our females appearance in such way that it incurrages the sexual crime ? We talk about eradication of prostitute ! I say it has reached in each family in our society (specially in India because we Indian more talk about purity in human relation).

To days we have commercialised ourselves to that extent that anything is expected from us for the shake of aquiring luxery, be it trading one's any female relation or culture or else.

Our extra earnings has to be used in regulated way to further the progression of humanity to its' any hight, but keeping intact the moral values of individual as well as of family %26amp; society too, which is totally ignored to days.
Reply:Does all this babbling have a point?

Wake me up when you get to it.
Reply:Is this a question or a sermon?

Regardless, I understand the direction you're talking in. Blame it on money-hungry media, which constantly try to portray these things as hip fads and trends, and the fatal mix of consumerism and materialism.

But when it comes down to it, doesn't it also depend on what values and ethics we uphold for ourselves? The world tells us these "role models" are good. It's up to each of us individually to stand up and say no.
Reply:Friend,

In Indian Films it is highly ridiculous if you try to see for reasonability of action of any body.

They are called Heroes and Heroines.

Thev picture with real action, message and devency have gone.In the name of westernisation and Fashion all absurd things, anti Indian , against the Indian traditiona have taken place,no one bothers like any other field.

The Best Hero and Heroine of the year are selected.

The voice mostly is not their,( some body gives his or her voice in the name of dubbing)

the singing is done by Play back singers.

Fighting is dine by dupes.

They do not even know the language in which the film is being made (most of the times)

It is very wrong to expect to see reasonable things in the cinema.

The revolver rounds in the Hero's revolver never exhaust....they will be coming like in a machine gun.

He never misses his target ,but the well trained gang of Special police from land and Helicopter fire several hundreds of bullets so accurately that none hits the HERO.

Any one can beat the police in uniform, there is no offence or case.

any abusive language can be used freely withoutn fear of any legal action.

any dress can be worn ,,,,.....there is none to ask but many to clap.

The Hero Knows every thing from swimmming, cardriving, steamer driving, helicopter driving, train driving, space craft driving and all modern scientific gadgets and their actions.he is know all.

His bullets can hit several people or targets so nicely with reflectins.

there is nothing impossible to our HERO.

the poor Heroine is there to give smile, show her beauty(?)

sing and dance (for the songs sung by some others).

Our films are models to tell HOW NOT TO MAKE FILMS.

let us hope God or some one helps and we will be able to see some neat ,decent melodious music filled films.
Reply:They (whomever they might be) are not my hero's and heroines.
Reply:You should get a chip for your other shoulder, so you'll be more balanced.

CD
Reply:Well, if you have a lot of natural baby-feeding projections in a movie, it's sure to be a hit.

Sorry, but that line made me laugh.
Reply:Heroin is not good for you. if you take too much you can die. Then you can never be a Hero.

Dude, what world have you been living in? Most of this country is pagan. They are just living up to their job description.
Reply:Yes you are right.

Add to them all the corrupt 'sports' personalities

and all the rabble-rousing religious leaders

and all the idiot politicians.

Yes we do seem to put our respect/adoration in funny places.

No wonder the world is in such a mess!
Reply:I believe that you have taken temptation and confused it with SIN. Temptation by itself is NOT a sin. one can look at all the scantily clad women and men that one wishes to, and as long as there is not actual LUST, there is NO sin whatsoever.

The SIN comes in with YOUR response to the temptation. If you look at those scantily clad women or men and then LUST after them, at THAT point you have "committed a SIN of LUST".

It is NOT someone else's responsibility to eliminate temptation from the world. It is YOUR responsibility to be a righteous and GOOD person and RESIST that temptation. This idea of "The Devil made me do it" is hogwash. The Devil has no more power over you than my pet cat. If you did a wicked act then it was YOU who decided that you COULD do it and are just trying to avoid the responsibility for your choice by blaming the Devil.

As for Heroes and Heroines, YOU choose who your Heros are, NOT some unknown person sitting in an office that you will NEVER meet in person. Again, you have confused Hero with Celebrity. A Hero is someone who has ALL of the qualities that you admire MOST in a person and lives his or her life based on those qualities. A celbrity is simply someone who has become well known either through some act that they have done or by simply doing their job, and taking an acting role in a movie doing a good job with that role.

I hope that this helps a bit.

Brightest Blessings,

Raji the Green Witch
Reply:Wow that sounds like pop culture in America.....

There is alot wrong with mainstream America's heros.......

We are a wicked generation......who can be saved from this?

HELP!........how do we make changes?.......what is the Answer?...............
Reply:I'm unfamiliar with the heros of which you speak. Are they in comic books or movies? To me, a hero helps someone with no profit and tries to make the world a better place against the odds. Those other heroes aren't real so we shouldn't even pay any attention to them.
