There is a distinct difference between?

the ethics of discussing the facts of a case you are working on and the ethics of offering an opinion on cases you are not professionally involved with whether you are a Dr, Nurse, Social Worker, Police Officer . . .

Isn't there?

I am only bound by confidentiality laws in relation to cases I am working on and in relation to divulging personaldetails that would identify a particular person or case, I am not exempt from passing an opinion or giving factual info about law and policy in relation to social work in general or cases in the media.

Does anyone on here understand that?

There is a distinct difference between?
I would stop posting threads defending yourself if I were you.

Don't worry what's said about you personally on here. You'll never win. What are you expecting, that everyone who disagrees with you will suddenly turn round and say they see your point now? You know that's never going to happen on here.

Just speak your mind on any topic you choose and stop defending your position.
Reply:AS I KEEP SAYING BARBIE

those twins from Big Rother want to be Social Workers.

They are on a degree course you need 2 GCSEs to get on!!!

Says it all!!!!
Reply:Yes, I understand!

But why are you asking?

I hope I did not or any one else offend you in any way?

Just noticed the other question there, and of course you are absolutely correct!

Don't take any notice!

Have a star!
Reply:calm down - you're entitled to you opinion like everyone else
Reply:I have never seen you post anything that was out of ethics code, but that's me. Regardless what you do as a profession has nothing to do with it, anyone can be wrong anyone can be a jerk. If you are a stand up person, people will see that aside from what others post. I think what one of the poster said is its not what you say, it's how you say it, possibly that's something to think about. Being book smart and people smart are two different things. I understand what you are saying, though before this post it really wasn't a concern and still isn't. Don't let what others post make you feel like you have to defend yourself, you know who you are.
Reply:i only speak English ,, Italian and french don't understand this one sorry barbs
Reply:I understand that Barbie :)
Reply:FACT.

Unfortunately Barbie it looks like you have been made a target for today's witch hunt, do not stress it will be someone Else's turn tomorrow.
Reply:I understand that, but wheres the humour?

I heard you were said to be funny?
Reply:Come round, I just opened a bottle of wine ............xx
Reply:Busy is right Barb, just leave it, you don't need it, don't deserve it.

Have a large Vodka on me!
Reply:Barbie, go check how many people support you!!

Keep remembering that. Maybe change your ID on yahoo, give your input, but don't say you're a social worker if it will keep other morons who can't take a difference of opinion, are not qualified or attempting to be part of the PR product
Reply:I do hun xx keep up your good work
Reply:Right that's it.........LEAVE BARBIE ALONE. !!!!!
Reply:I get that barbie..I know what you are trying to say. You are not directly involved in this case and so are giving your opinion on the speculation you have heard..you are not commenting on a case that you are actually working on. I think what may be getting to people is that you dont think anyone else has the right to question your opinion because 'you are a trainee social worker'..and you know best. I understand that because of your profession you may have a better grasp of what the actual protocall is but you jump down peoples throats when they voice an opinion that disagrees with you and then claim its because you know best...because of your profession.

Do you get what I am trying to say...??

(P.S. - I am not trying to be insulting or anything xox)
