I am looking for an interesting non-fiction book?

Reply:read the road to wigan pier by george orwell.

i'm not particularly a fan of socialism because i think it has waaayyyy too many flaw in theory and also i think that greed and jealousy are very good motivators for improvement, but orwell presents his case very well, and is rather amusing

Reply:Twilight is FICTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Isn't it?

Reply:13 reasons why by jay asher
Reply:Faith of My Fathers by John McCain. It tells the story of how he was a POW (prisoner of war) for five years. It is terrible what they did to those men. It is an amazing book!

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom is also good. She survived the Jewish Holocaust. It is amazing as well.
Reply:Desert Flower by Waris Dirie - a Somalian who survived female genital mutilation to become a supermodel. Has also written Desert Dawn- a sequel to Desert Flower, describing how she became a UN Special Ambassador against female genital mutilation (FGM).
Reply:Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore
Reply:I always find autobiographys and biographys very interesting to read. Have you tried Lance Armstrong's one? I recommend it.
Reply:Come on people...Twilight is fiction. You can't answer that book for every single question you answer, it makes u look rediculous.

For a nonfiction book, try The Overacheivers by Alexandra Robbins. It's about these kids who go the extra mile to go into an Ivy League school...it's very good. It's drama mixed with fact :)
Reply:You could try What is the What by Dave Eggers. It is a story about the Lost Boys in Sudan. It is based off the real life of Valentino Achak Deng, a survivor from Darfur who made the trek across Sudan and eventually came over to America. The only reason it is in the fiction section is that the writer Dave Eggers took the events of Valentino's life and exagerrated some of them for impact or he combined events that happened to other Lost Boys in Sudan with Valentino's life, so that their experiences may be told even though they will be placed as part of Valentino's life story. It's an enthralling read...If you would like to continue getting information on this current crisis, read They Poured Fire On Us From the Sky, it's told by three Lost Boys from Sudan with similar experiences to those told by Mr. Deng. There is plenty of great literature on the subject, we can only hope that the world will become more aware of the genocide by reading these great stories. Hope this helps. :)
Reply:race matters--I forget the authors name, but I have been to see him in lecture.
